Grandstream Wave

Items Needed

  • IOS or Android phone
  • GS Wave app from iTunes or Google Play store
  • SIP user
  • SIP password
  • SWTPVOIP domain
  • Login information for web portal: Https://manage.swtpvoip.com

Obtain Your Domain Info

  • Log into PBX portal at https://manage.swtpvoip.com
  • Login Name will be your [email protected] domain (eg. [email protected])
  • Enter your Password
  • Click Log In
  • Click on the Phones button at the top
    • If you do not see a softphone listed already, click the Add Phone button
    • For phone suffix enter a ‘g’.  Do not use ‘m’ as it is dedicated to the SNAPMobile app
    • Record calls: no
    • 911 Caller ID: set to your main phone number
    • Model: do not change this option.
  • Click the pencil button to the right of the mobile app extension (you may have just created this).
  • Take note of the Domain, Outbound Proxy, Username and Password

Account Setup

  • Open the GS Wave application
  • Click on the settings icon on the bottom right then click Account Settings
  • Click on SIP Account
  • Enter the following information:
    • Account name: Any description of your account is fine.  We suggest using your extension number and company name
    • SIP Server: DOMAIN from the portal’s phone information
    • SIP User ID: username from portal’s phone information
    • SIP Authentication ID: same as above
    • Password: password from portal’s phone information
    • Display Name: Enter your full name
    • Voicemail UserID: 5001
  • click the check mark to back out
  • Select the account you just created
  • Scroll down to Network Settings and select Outbound Proxy
  • Enter the SIP outbound Proxy address from the portal’s phone information
    • sbc.ucaasnetwork.com
  • Scroll to SIP Settings and select Unregister before New Registration
  • Select Do not Unregister
  • Go back to the Settings page
  • Choose Advanced Settings
  • Go to the Network settings and turn off “Only Use this Wifi to Register Account”
  • Back out and the extension will register
